a uga-specific event: our sga is trying as hard as they can to implement a campus-wide smoking ban. no one really realized that smoking was an issue on campus, but then again, how to you expect a student government association to be in touch with its students when only a small percentage of the people they represent even voted for them. it’s been kinda a sloppy run to make the lives of smokers harder than they should be.
